"Considered in Executive Council this day.
In pursuance and by virtue of the Foreshore and See-bed Ordi-
nance, 1901, (No. 21 of 1901) the Governor in Council declared that it was expedient that Crown Leases of the Sea-bed known and registered or intended to be registered in the Land Office
as Lantao Marine Lots Nos. 1 and 2 should be granted for the
term of ten years from this date at the respective annual Crown Rents of $1,000 and $300 for the purpose of searching for and obtaining coral and shells so that the rights of navigation
and fishing are not interfered with and on condition that the
boats and other craft of the lessees keep clear of the Artille-
ry Ranges from Stonecutters Island and Belchers Batteries
during Artillery Fractice on the usual notice being given."
